Just bought this mics and look for a shockmount which I could use them in the field. I have a CineCity for shotguns, but because of the S502 T-bar design I cannot put it into properly. Any idea?
If the shaft is 21m this will work nice.....not sure if its bigger.

A similar adapter comes with the mic so I have one. What I look for is a shockmount system that can be used with S502 in the fields. Thanks!

might work at the bottom of the T
if it's slightly too big you can use a small strip of foam (self-stick ) weather stripping

Thank you!
In the meantime, I made a blimp for S502 from my long CineCity. How you like it?

The superlux 502 kit includes one that looks like the EV one.

Yes, the EV looks very similar to what comes with S502 box. The blimp is this one:

http://www.thecinecity.com/eshop/product.php?productid=15&cat=264&page=1

I used the extension basket for this project. Only one 21mm-dia hole was drilled in the splint where stem comes off the mic. CineCity was sent 4 pieces for pipe ends anyway so I have now two complete shockmount systems for the price of one :D

I think the S502 is very worth the price. However, I plan to upgrade its sound a little with silver micas and new silver wiring from capsule to PCB board.
