I know it's the preferred one, but is it the only reliable one to date? (and if this is another question that I've stupidly missed an obvious answer to - golly what lovely tortured English - then by all means just point me to the relevant thread!)
Alternatively, are there any current offers anywhere on the Transcend? Newegg doesn't have a rebate on it right now and despite ruthleess googling I haven't seen much else to bring the price down ...
Thanks!
(Clearly I'm having a very bad How to Successfully Search Online Morning ;))
[edited to clarify this refers to an SD card]

I have a Transcend 4gb card I'll sell.
I have only used it twice.
It worked in my Microtrack using firmware 1.2.3 , then I upgraded to 1.4.3 and it doesn't like my MT anymore.
Yours for $55.00 shipped to you. It is $95 on Newegg.

That's a compact flash card...the R-09 uses a Secure Digital card.
As for the original question...I'd like to know the answer too!

Indeed... I'd have been all over this offer otherwise!!

I see. I just looked at 4gb Transcend. I didn't know what the R-09 used.
