Title: REALISTIC 33-919A stereo mic experience?
Post by: 12milluz on July 02, 2010, 12:33:23 AM
I know Realistic is a Radioshack brand, but the little information I could find on this mic says its not too bad. Anyone by chance have any experience with it?

I was going to go more with: "Bwhahahahahahahahaha" or www.sadtrombone.com.... but, that'll work, too.

Don't know how much it's selling for but it isn't worth it and I'm sure there's gotta be something better out there for the price.

Those generally bring less than 20 bucks on ebay...and its not one of their better stereo mics...very low output if I recall....I remember being suspicious the capsules had lost some charge or something.

Heres a thread - you can see the specs.

Its kind of a nice looking mic...you almost wish you could retro-fit it with some better internals.

Im actually tempted to run it >nak MX-100 and see what it does. Been a long time since I've used one of these.

I might even take it apart for the curious...although perhaps someone like illconditioned has already done so?

Theres another crazy Realistic Stereo mic that has rotatable capsules so you can run it in a front address position. (I have a little collection of RS Stereo mics) :P

Yeah, I could have gotten on the 'bay for like $15 shipped, but it would have been wasted money. Thanks guys!
