Neumann KM D
« on: October 04, 2006, 07:12:02 PM »
The new issue of Live Sound International arrived today and it has an item on the Neumann KM D series.

"The Neumann KM D Series of digital miniature microphones includes models KM 183 D, KM 184 D and KM 185 D that combine omnidirectional, cardioid and supercardioid capsules with a KM D output stage to offer three different directional characteristics. All models offer the company's A-to-D converter located next to the capsule, and it supports a dynamic range exceeding that of the capsule. Sampling frequencies from 44. kHz to 192 kHz are supported. Integrated DSP functions include gain, a compressor/limiter with de-esser and a peak limiter. These can be configured via a DMI-2 interface and RCS control software, with an optional connection kit available for connection to S/PDIF and AES/EBU interfaces without the DMI-2."
