Homebrew Mic help.
« on: January 05, 2008, 10:22:39 PM »
I need to build a stereo mic for a very specific application and i could use some help, i've found a few pages through google, but all the useful ones are beyond my limited understanding of building circuits   or the images are broken.

Anyway, I need to build a mic to go on a concertina. Ideally i would like it to be 2 caps that velcro on to the ends of the concertina with small cables that go to a box with a XLR (or 2) on it, powered by the mixer if possible. i have 2 rat shack 270-092 caps i would like to use. Any ideas how that might work?
ADK A-51s LE's > Oade W-mod UA-5 > Zoom H4n Pro if I bother to drag out a full rig. More often just the H4N Pro. My LMA tapes
