Title: Are digital cable’s directional?
Post by: airbladder on October 11, 2006, 03:47:47 PM
Are digital cable’s directional?  I had a coax cable made for my HD-P2 and there are arrows on the shrink wrap.  I am wondering if this type of cable is directional or if the shrink wrap just has arrows on it?  I have seen arrows on analog cables in the past what is the deal with cable’s being directional?  I never paid much attention to it.  Any info would be great?  Thanks, Ed

Nah, they're not directional.  I have similar markings on alot of my cables, but they send signal either way.

I got a response from Ed at kind cables and he said it is not directional.  But can someone explain shielding to me?
