Kind of skeptical about the 12 hours of P48 on 4 AAs. Fairly big and heavy, too. The price is right, though, so, I am curious to read some reviews...

No brainer for 100 bucks for the budget taper.  Left right adjustments .  Nice looking meters.  If not for taping Deff nice for your dslr like intended.  Ed

The P12 option is nice and will help the battery life for mikes that can use it.
Looks like a nice box..  and great price.

It is not clear to me if the output is mic or line level signal.

I see this as cool MOD potential.   I might just have to buy one and then send it to Doug Oade and say "do your worst"

The output is at consumer aux level. This is unfortunate for many in its direct target market (DSLR and mirrorless camera owners and camcorder users) since many such devices only have mike-level inputs. But attenuating patch cables are available for them.

I haven't tested this model, but what troubles me right away is the lack of any battery level indicator. I wrote to the company and verified this; there's no direct way to know when your batteries are running low.

Otherwise, very interesting, especially for the price.
