I don’t understand the 3 xlr ins vs 4

If you're patching out of a SBD, you only need 1 XLR, for the 633/833 will spread the sound to both left & right ISO channels internally.  Luv this feature, for most SBDs I patch out of are mono anyways.

Is it just me or was the 2nd half of this video shot in complete darkness making it impossible to see what is happening. I can see the unboxing during the first half of the video but once the sun goes down it becomes hard to watch.

Yup, sorry about that, I talked for a lot longer than the ten minutes or so that I thought I would! And the sun set faster than I thought as well.

There wasn't much to be seen anyway as I'm just holding the recorder in my hands while I talk about it. (aside from when I comment about the little hidden port, but then again I assume anybody who has been following the 833 already knows about that hidden feature! And the possibility this is for a future "SL4")
