CA Ugly 2 preamp
« on: February 27, 2020, 11:45:06 PM »
Hi guys,
I have just recently bought CA Ugly 2 preamp, received a new one just yesterday but it does not seem to work. When I plug in the battery in the slot and insert ca-14 or ca-11 mics, and an output cable into recorder, I never get any signal in the recorder. Also the led light never turns on.

I bought this preamp for a concert on 13th of march and now I’m running out of time to get it checked.

Is there anyone willing to assist me, or is in Europe and is willing to sell me their CA Ugly 2 preamp for a month? I urgently need it 🥺

Now I don't know for sure, but I suspect it was cold outside, and the unit shrunk together a bit. I had to apply some pressure on the input jacks and correct them, then it seemed that the unit recognised the microphone is inserted.
