I have a 5m set of mmp er cables in route from DPA.  The part number is MMP ER500

i asked if they could do 5m lengths, and was told they don't do that anymore

what!? they told me no!
Hi Scb,

Have talked to DPA in longmont and it depends on who you talk to getting the correct info is not easy sometimes.
Just ask them again with the part number and see what they say...

Patrick

I would call them for sure!  Their misinformation is certainly not your fault.

I think the 5m cables are a custom order.  I believe stock cables are all 3m.  I have been waiting on my 5m for well over a month since they are coming from the other side of the pond.

I sent my 4028s in 2 weeks ago. I just got a quote for $1,554 to upgrade them.

I can sell my 28s and buy a brand new matched pair with the difference being a lot less than 1554

^ That's very interesting. From your previous post, I would have expected $1099.50 ((2*250)+(2*143.75)+287+25). Maybe they needed to replace a cap to get them matched within tolerance? In any event, I think you will be happy with the modular system. It is just a bit more robust and flexible.
