great program.  Just downloaded the trial and successfully burned my first 24/48 show.  Sounds great.  Gapless.  At 39 bucks this is a steal I think.  I will probably get it just so I can start archiving my own stuff at 16/48 and be able to put full shows, and openers, on one disc.

edit: not quite gapless.  I just noticed a slight pause between tracks.  I'm not sure if I missed a setting, or what.

its a nice little program for the price..wish I could fastforward or rewind in a chapter though..can skip to the next track or go back a track, but that is it. Been enjoying the 24bit sound

fast forward within chapters works for me, but rewind just kicks you back to previous chapters.

Has anyone tried mixing 24/48 and 16/44.1 on the same disc yet?  I imagine it would work, but I'm just curious.  I'm going to try it later with 2 shows I recently downloaded.

interesting, even says on the site that fastforward or rewind will not work with in a chapter...might be the DVD player you are using...too many variable with this...

I just gave it a try on my lappie. Nothing new to post. I also ran into gap problems burning on the fly. I tried burning to my hard drive first then burning with a drag and drop dvd burner package and that still gave me gaps.  :P I guess I need to get Nero.

One thing I did notice. My first five 24/96 tracks are about 946 MB but on the DVD it's around 328MB in a VOB file. I thought I would see something in the Audio_TS folder. Anyway, what happened to the other 2/3rds of the information. Was it just compressed? Am I still hearing 24/96 audio from the 328MB DVD file?

Looks like a nice program. Somebody please tell me you have the option of changing the two background menu image to a still photo of choice. It would be nice to fast forward and rewind but at least we can skip tracks forwards and backwards. :)

Got Nero 6 Ultra but for some reason I'm still getting a one sec pause between tracks. Six DVDs later same is true with two other DVD burning software products and I even tried burning on my lappie and on another computer with a dvd burner  :P bummer The DVDs still have the pause when I try playing them on my computer with powerdvd as well.

I'm still concerned that the vob file is about 1/3 the size of the 24/96 wav master file. Is this normal?

Are you sure that you selected LPCM encoding for the audio tracks during the authoring process?  I would suspect that you selected a compressed encoding if the VOB files are significantly smaller than the original wav files.

Are you reauthoring the DVD from scratch with each attempt?  If you originally authored the audio in a format that put a gap between the tracks, then the gap will always be there in the VOB files regardless of the image creation and burning SW tool you use.  Once the content is authored to DVD, burner SW doesn't mess with it - just puts it to an image on disc.

It's worth a double check. I was not reauthoring the DVDs each time. I'm pretty sure the disk image on the hard drive was playing without gaps using and playing with powerdvd, which I took as a good sign.
