Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 vs. Leica V-Lux 1
« on: May 07, 2007, 10:54:19 PM »
Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on either one of these cameras? Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 or the Leica V-Lux 1.

I am looking for an all around camera but I am particularly interested in getting the best photo possible in low light situations (stage lighting).

Thank You

check this out:

and you will find that the two cameras you mention are identical, that is identical besides the brand name. Panasonic and Leica are in cooperation and market the same cameras under their own respective brand names, the Leica sell theirs for a premium for carrying their name.

If low light performance is of paramount importance take a very close look to Fuji, they use a sensore which is faster than any other brand's.

Everything you do through out the day, every thought and every feeling leaves an impression stored inside you.
These impressions create tendencies, their sum total is your character.
