When I try to playback 24Bit FLAC I get this message

Error creating DirectSound buffer.
Error code: 88780064

Any help?

Perhaps it's your soundcard.  What are you using for output?

also, what version of FLAC are the files?  The newest version of FLAC (v1.2.1) has much better compression ratios for 24 bit files, but many players/other software need a software update in order to play the files.  I know foobar is able to play the latest version of 24 bit FLAC files as of v0.4.5.x, which is still only available as beta.  maybe just your software needs to be updated (or the makers of the software need to update their software) to handle the latest version of FLAC.
