What software should I use?
« on: May 01, 2005, 08:06:32 PM »
Alright I have another newbie question.  If am going to be recording onto my jb3 in wav. and then want to transfer my recordings to my computer to burn onto cds and potentially turn to flac or shorten and upload onto archive.org, what software do I need.  Or maybe the question is what software should I use?  And how much would it cost me?

Thanks
Joe

Awesome!  Thank you very much.  I see that you also run SPC4s.  I just got mine and have a few questions.

I believe that the caps with the O are the omni's and the othe ones with the funky shape are the cards, is this correct?

I also believe that for the switch setting in the middle is a bass roll off option, is that correct?

What do you use for windscreens, I have read that the ones that come with it aren't worth a damn.

Do you use the mounting bar that comes with it?  If not what do you use?

Thanks

Joe

youre right on the cards/omnis. i use the stock screens...but i dont tape outside so...(well ihave once, but they worked fine) i believe your right on the switch order, but i forget, bass roll off is hte line with a kink in it. -10 is -10 db. miine didnt come with a bar....i use a homemade vert bar. look around for some of my rig pics posts and youll see it.
