So, Im tracking out Mofro from Bonnaroo, and it got me thinking. What they did a lot of was at the end of the song, they'd kind of fade down, or do a big ending, and while the last note was still ringing out, they would start the next song. If you were tracking somthing like this, would you call this a transition with a ">" on your text file, or just leave it as two songs. I know its not a big deal, but I was just curious as to what you think...

Alex,
From your description, I would put the (>) in there since there is no moment of silence in there. I've had the same question before and I finally decided that I'd put the (>) in as long as the music or notes were still being heard when the next tune started. Maybe no (>) mark if it was something that was burned to disc TAO and no notes were missed. (not that anyone would do TAO, just used as an example)
Either way, I wouldnt worry about it.  I wont call the etree police on ya.  ;)
