After more than five years of running flawlessly (I generally use my ck61 caps, but the ck62's still saw good action), I'm having some sort of glitch with my AKG ck62 omni caps right now and need some advice.
When I turn phantom on (I run an R44), sometimes they seem to make weird noises. I've always chalked it up to phantom kicking on because then it always settles down and the mics/caps/bodies have performed perfectly for years. However now they both pop a little on power up, but once they settle down, one cap in particular can settle into a steady or random series of "pops" every once in a while (sometimes 3-4 pops a min, sometimes only one pop every 3-4-5 mins) and I can't figure out what's wrong?
Note that if I switch the caps L-R, the pop moves to the other channel. And if I put my ck61's on the bodies, the whole chain is super clean right from the get go. So I don't think it's the deck, or the cables, or the bodies at this point. Team AKG said it might be moisture and to put them in a baggie with moisture removing packs (doing that now). Does anyone else have any experience with this kind of issue? Anything else I should test? Should I just send them in to get overhauled?
You can listen to a two minute sample of what they both caps sound like right after I turn on phantom:

(Note that the one channel can keep popping like that for hours it seems...
Thanks in advance for any help!
