Wiring question
« on: September 12, 2005, 11:59:32 AM »
So I am looking into buying a place in DC, but one of the considerations I have is in putting down hardwood floors.

OK, so one of the problems I have now is that my 5.1 system has cables along the floor, and it is a major pain in the ass.  So my plan is for when the hardwood is laid to run cable beneath the floor to ports in the drywall for the speakers.

Basically have a 4 port speaker outlet on each side of the rear wall to put my bookshelf speakers on their stands near them and not have cables all over the place.

does this make sense or am i on crack?
