Title: Weird WAV problem...
Post by: mfh2014 on January 13, 2004, 02:22:02 AM
So I was giving my FW410 a test drive tonight...some issues...i was taking a digital patch out of a D8...everything was working for the first set, then, the taper turned off his V3 before i got a chance to stop recording...computer freezes...I reboot and the WAV file is there, but when I open it in SF, there is no data...weird thing is, it plays back fine in winamp...any ideas??  header problem??

thanks for the help

matt

Might be, but to recover it, have winamp's output set to "diskwriter" or something like that, and play it back after making that change. If you configure it, you can pick the output folder too. It will rewrite the file.

edit  There is another approach in that same thread that might work for you (I don't use Soundforge)
