So this thread went to hell fast...  No worries..  My D8 is back and fine.. not an issue since.

Just wondering if it happend to others and it of course has...

BTW the D8 was in my bag, separate pouch and the whole bag was covered with towels donated by the hotel daily.. even changed the towels as they got warm..  umbrella for mics..

Thanks for all the input...

As for the JB3 - got one coming in a week or so..  Figured, I have the optical out on the V3, may as well use it..

Fozzy - no worries on the Hijacking

It was hot as hell,  or should i say hot as normal,  someone showed me thier V3 that you could fry an egg on(still workin fine),   johnathons apogee was just as hot.
If this is the Jonathan I'm thinking of, his ADK1 is always hot. That's Apogee's way of saying "I'm OK".. ;-)

Wayne

yea, i think my point was that someone had a V3 that was running as hot as a ad1k.  i've slept since then so there is no telling what was on my mind

peace
