JB3 plug size/power
« on: October 20, 2004, 06:25:30 PM »
I use to have a JB3 and ran this to power it:
10 amp SLA>alligator clips female cigarette lighter thing (radio shack)>Universal Car power kit (with selectable voltage or the creative one)>NJB3.

My question is what letter from radio shack coresponds to the right power jack.  (At radio shack they assign a letter to correspond to the universal input jacks)

Also using the above system which do I turn the voltage dial to?  3v, 4.5v, 6v, 9v, 12v...
The information is probably out there already I just didn't find it
MG200/210>m148>v3>MT2496

From the FAQ:

Quote
[155] What size DC external power plug does the JB3 use?

Outer Diameter:  4.0mm / Inner Diameter:  1.7mm
Radio Shack Adaptaplug B

Well, not until just now when I updated it, anyway.  :P
