or, you could run a bunch of V3s and Mini-Mes in front of it.
Quote from: nickgregory on July 26, 2005, 07:25:00 AMI read the $6000 as the 8 channel version...in the second paragraph down it says the 2 channel version, more details will be released in septemberI don't think that's right. It looks like they are all 8 channel devices (MINIR82), you just have the option of setting them up as 2 to 8 channel devices. However, this is really a marketing ploy because you're still limited to only two analog inputs. The rest of the channels come from the AES inputs, so you'll need a nice Cooper or Sonosax mixer (there's another 6-8K)....Wayne

They're also making a MINIR2 that will be just 2 channels. Details for that are coming in Sept.
INPUTSTwo balanced Mic/Line Input using high end mic preamp technology on 7 pin miniature connectors. Got this fron Sonosax. What is a 7 pin connector? Can I get cables made for XLR to 7 pin connectors?
so this isnt an all in one, just a preamp/capture ? or is it/
Quote from: BigRay on August 23, 2005, 10:06:14 PMso this isnt an all in one, just a preamp/capture ? or is it/Sonosax makes pretty good pre-amps, so I'm thinking it should an all-in-one solution.. I'm not even sure the channel has digital in, so it better be an all-in-one
Hope this box doesnt smear the high end like the m2
