Help! 'COPY PROHIBIT' Mini-Me > D8?
« on: August 19, 2005, 05:42:46 AM »
Help!  Chucky is stuck in the field right now trying to get a D8 to take a signal from a Mini-me.  He has a AES > coax cable > barrel adapter > SONY RK-DA10P (grey housing).  It is showing up 'COPY PROHIBIT', WTF?!

Can anyone help us RIGHT NOW?

UPDATE: Nevermind.  We figured it out.  I did a quick search and found the AES thing to be a problem.  Told Chucky about it via SMS on the celly and he switched the RK-DA10P to that loose ass Coax out on the mini-me, BINGO.

You can't run consumer decks out of the aes on the MiniMe
