Title: CA9100 preamp bass filter specs?
Post by: jmz93 on October 04, 2011, 12:22:26 AM
Hi folks. What is the approximate low-end shelf of the bass filter in Church Audio's 9100 preamp? I'm looking for the corner freq and slope of the shelf. Thanks much,
Chris.

The roll off starts at 100hz and its about 30 db down at 20hz when its on.

For what input impedance?

For what input impedance?

According to Chris (copied from an earlier post):
The high pass filter is in the input stage of the preamp and thus no issues with what ever recorder its connected to.

Therefore Chris' HPF does a constant rolloff no matter what recorder is used. This is much better than the system used by Sound Pro's battery boxes that have roll offs that change radically depending on the impedance of the recorder's input.

That is correct.
