(1/1)

Hi Guys,

Do any of you have these mics? If so what windshields do you use? Everytime I record outdoors I still get the wind sound in the recording
I can't remember where I got my windshields, but if anyone could recommend some that would be great

Thank you

These are the best IMO. I used a little tape to seal them up since they are a little deeper than necessary. They are made for the AT835 type mic that has a much larger body than the CA11.

These are super cheap, aren't a perfect fit but they do work better than nothing. Open cell foam so not good for heavy gusts. They are available in 1/4" and 1/2" versions. The CA mics are in between at about 3/8". I'm in the US so I use inches.

Not sure if B&H ships to the EU but Thomann or some other retailer should have these.

Thanks for replying, i dont know if theyll be suitable because of the clip in the side of the ca11s, its probably down to the foam mine are made from as what im using definitely cover the mics
