MIC MOUNT BARS (aka stereo bars, t-bars)

Some of the small active cable setups (Neumann, DPA, Schoeps) have their own mic mounting bars which I won't mention here.

AKG  KM235  (http://www.akgusa.com)
Probably the most popular mic mount bar out there, with good reason: it's durable, flexible, and inexpensive.

Shure A27M  (http://www.shure.com)
This sucker is sturdy.  Well built, easy to use.

MacArthur Group Stereo Bar, aka Vark Bar  (http://www.posthorn.com/Macvk_4.html)
I see this one mentioned pretty regularly, but have never seen one actually using it.

Sabrasom ST2  (http://www.sabrasom.com.br)
Never used one, but I've read plenty of comments that it's not very durable.

Here is a link to a 2011 thread about stereo bars that ended up covering about every stereo bar available.

The best cheap one is the K&M

The best of the best is the Grace SpaceBar

In the middle is the new Rycote stereo bar
