Adobe Audition 3 - Best way to Filter Heavy Bass Guitar
« on: February 20, 2009, 08:03:25 AM »
Hello fellot Tapists, music fans.

I taped Lucinda Williams' complete set last night in Dallas at the House of Blues.  It sounds incredible to say the least, but could be improved.  Unfortunately there are some instances where the bass guitar gets a bit heavy.  It doesn't distort, just kinds of rumbles and is a distraction, and is only present during the heavier Rock songs.

I'm using Adobe Audition 3 and would love some step by step assistance with a way to filter it and get this show ready to share with the world.  I'm familiar with the basic operations in AA3, so please gear any responses for the novice that I am.

Thanks in advance,

David

Not at my work station right now but in the multitrack view theire should be an EQ tab on each track.  Click the tab and select the frequency you want to change.  Once set mixdown to new track.
