SP-BMC-1 Omni´s - Batterybox question
« on: October 28, 2017, 09:56:21 AM »
Hello fellow tapers,

These days I usually tape with this rig:

AT943 >> Micro-mini microphone power supply with mini 12vdc battery >> Olympus LS- 10

I also have some old SP-BMC-1 Omni´s that I taped with many years back. I run them directly into the Olympus LS-10.

My question is:

If I sometimes would like to run both rigs (I have one more Olympus LS-10) would I benefit from having a 12vdc battery box for the SP-BMC-1 mic´s as well?

Or should I tape with the SP-BMC-1 directly into the Olympus LS-10 like I used to?

My "double-rig" would then be:

AT 943 >> 12vdc battery box >> Olympus LS-10

SP-BMC-1 >> 12vdc battery box >> Olympus LS-10

Thank you!
