Ever notice ghost leachers on bt.etree?
« on: July 28, 2007, 06:52:26 AM »
Just curious... I've noticed this for at least the last 6-8 months , maybe longer, and was wondering if other people were seeing it.

I have several torrents up on bt.etree that seem to be getting to the end of their lifecycle and are not active.  I check my uploaded torrents a few times a week and if anyone jumps on one with no seeder I try to reseed to help.  Most times the leecher will take the show with no problems..... But I have a bunch out there now with one leacher and no seeders that I have jumped onto which I leave open for several days to a week and they never pull any data from me.  I eventually give up and stop mine but if I check back weeks later those same single leachers are still there waiting on a unseeded torrent.  Just seems strange to me.

Stay Kind,
dana
