everybody be honest,
what is a fair selling price for a used V2 - good condition physical ??
trying to sell mine and I think I'm asking too much
-
Having owned and subsequently sold 3 V2s, I'd say anywhere between $575 and $700, wouldn't expect more and certainly wouldn't take any less.
Where your price falls in between there would be based on condition, age, use, etc.
-
that sounds like a good range
if I was shopping for one currently I wouldn't pay over $650 and would consider $600-625 a pretty good deal...
-
I just paid $600 for one in fair condition. Works great but some of the numbers are rubbed off etc. I felt it was a fair deal.

i paid 575 for one that was used like 3 or 4 times.
the dude that sold it to me had it only a few weeks before the v3 came out, got a v3 and put that one aside.

I sold my V2 and SBM as a set. Depending on where in the range you price an SBM with coax mod, I got between $600 and $675 for the V2.
I noticed some mention of how your V2 looked. I don't know if it's those marks on the edge of the panel, but every V2 I've seen has those to some degree. On mine I thought that is just how they come. Not damage, but just that sort of pitted finish.
I agree that $700 is at the very top of the range and will require a motivated buyer to pay that amount. A V2 is worth every bit of $700 - in my opinion the going rate is not in line with how good a piece of gear it is.
-
600$ is fair.... If anyone knows of an AD2k+ I might be wanting to pick one up again. I dont know for sure but Im thinking hard about pulling the trigger on one.. I should have never sold mine.
-
600-650.....no more....no less IMO. the fact that it could be had at 600 is a steal! one of the best 2channel DC powered pre's out there in the market without a doubt.

agreed...

hmm...how much is an oade mod sbm1 worth?
-
with the line stage mod
$550 or so

i sold mine for 475 because that's what i got it for. i think it was an exception though.

definately... amazing how good a pre that is. I will never sell mine and may grab another one if I see a steal on it. I use it ambient as well as an outboard for my multi rig. Meters and gain adjustment take some getting used to though.

I know how that feels all to well. You have a v3 though, so why do you want a v2?

dont need the a/d in the v3
I was thinking that way until someone brought up the idea that the V3 ADC could be used to give out a 16-bit patch while the 722 is running at 24-bit.

you can analog it out, with mini-xlrs > dap1 like the zman does. he runs the 88Hz, and says it sounds great.

i thought about that. but it seems there are fewer pastchers these days. everyone who would patch. now have ua-5>jb3 setups.
