Anyone have any ideas? I think (it isn't in front of me) that it takes 5V in, but I am much more willing to do trial and errors on my $150 JB3 refurb than my IPAQ. I know that folks are using these in the filed and I just got a PDAudio card. I know I can direct the same type of Q to PenComputingAudio, but would prefer to try here first.
Hmmm, I may have a car charger for this somewhere...Hmmmm
Thanks for any help...Kk

I use a battery extender with 4 of the 2200mh AA in it. They will last forever. Taped the entire Sunday Wakarusa on 4 of them + the battery that came with the unit. You can find these on E-bay.

Dunno about your reasons for external power but for the 2210 they have internal replacement batteries with larger capacities.

i have one of these, too, but it connects via the jack at the botom of the ipaq...
when running in the field, the bat on the dual cf pack go, not the ipaq...
so dont i need to be able to plug the batt extender into the side of the pack, and not the bottom of the ipaq, or will the power trickle through to where it is needed no moatter how it is connected..?
thanks.
