Good evening all,
I purchased a pair of the Countryman B3 Viper clips which came in the mail today from B&H. When I tried to thread the cable into the clip they would not fit the opening. The cable is larger than the opening of the clip. I went over to the B&H website and under reviews I read one in which another user had the same issue. I am probably going to return the clips unless someone on here encountered the same issue and discovered a work around.
Other B3 users - what are you using for mic clips? Looking to clip onto a baseball hat or even a pair on sunglasses I can rest on top of my head. Stealth recorder.
Thanks.

I uss the Croakies micro suiters for mounting to glasses.
-
Did you get this type of clips?
-
No sir, I got these. They are called viper clips.
-
You received the wrong clips. Countryman produces the correct clips for these mics and they work perfectly.

Hey Yates,
Thanks for you reply. I took two pictures for your review: The clips in the packaging and a picture of the actual clip's opening.
Please let me know if they are identical to yours.
Thanks.

Sorry I don't have mine anymore. But I remember the clips were exactly like the crocodile type shown in the pictures above by Ziggz

The clips ziggz posted are the single tie clip style.

Mine came with the ones ziggz posted, they work perfect.

This type of clips came with my B3....but I always used tape and my glasses worked well...

Ditto here. Don't know if I've even used the clips that came with my B3's. A few small strips of gaffer's tape works wonders with these mics.
