Tried to find in the archives but didn't. Maybe some can help me. What do you have to do to get the 9v 5400mah battery Wallmart to work with UA5?

This thread might help.  I got my battery from Radioshack but it's the same as the wallyworld one.

Be sure to use correct polarity w/ the UA-5 plug--negative center, positive outer.

Not sure what that means, but when I do buy I'll be sure to get some help. I don't have a clue about batterys and such. Thanks.

It means you won't be able to use the cord that comes w/ the battery without cutting the wires and reversing the '+' and the '-' wires.  Or else you'll need to do what I did and go to radioshack and go the 'adapt a plug' route and just plug in one tip backwards.

Ok, I just bought one of these from walmart for $19. Is there a parts list or a set of picture that show how to make the cable? I'll be putting it to a UA5 as well.
Thanks

Never mind I found one with the part numbers and pics. I thought it was similar to the one I made back when I had my first UA5.
