New mics...I feel like it's christmas all over...

...I was greatly excited to find a package with my new mics in my mailbox yesterday...makes a jew like me feel the christmas spirit ;D.....now I understand why *some* people are changing gear weekly...in any case, I just wanted to share my joy with the rest of you and thank Justin for the mics....oh, I upgraded to the Audix SCX-ones from my Oktava's...only problem was that I had to go out and tape a show last night with my new mics instead writing a paper that is due in...well...two hours...ahhh...all's well that ends in new gear and smoking tapes...

nice man, good buy, i havn't heard many tapes from those mics, but i've heard good things, +T.

Well the show i taped last night came out great...I haven't had a chance to A-B it with some of my Oktava tapes...but i'm sure i'll be happy with the purchase...not to mention justin gave me a great deal....now i just need to save up for some hyper caps...

congrats man, i'm glad you are enjoying the mics!  i'd love to hear what the hypers sound like w/ these mics.
