Hey, what's up y'all! I new here and a 'noobie' in the world of taping show. I am geared more toward the studio enviroment. But I had a quick question about what would be the best way to waterproof a lavalier mic? Any imput would greatly be appreciated on my part! PEACE y'all.

True I guess it depends what I want to do/am doing, but I want to be as close to 100% safe with my mic so I am going to go with the condom thing. Im still nervious but hopefully all will go well. Thanks for the reply bro, PEACE

I saw at a local punk club this drummer with condoms on his Shure SM57's. The band's show involve lots of fake blood and urine (although some of it's not fake), and it definitely would have destroyed the unprotected 57.
Funny to look at, no matter how old you are!

There's nothing better than blood, urine, and some french ticklers to swoon the chicks.
Small balloons are always an option and may be what you are after since this is a lav mic.
