Need a good mic for recording rehearsals.

Need a mic to go straight into the recorder to record rehearsals in about a 20'x 20' room. Acoustics are dead, room is completely carpeted. Looking to spend $100 or less.

Sony ecm ms907 is about the only sub $100.00 solution I can think of that will sound half way decent without power or a pre...
