Is there any way for it to create peak files for 24 bits?

You can save your 24-bit files as 32bfp if you want PK files, and Audition will zero-fill the least significant 8 bits. Just gotta remember to truncate those least significant, zero-filled 8-bits if doing anything to the file later. Kind of a PITA...and one of the reasons I switched from Audition to Samplitude SE.
