S/W for multichannel DVD-A??
« on: April 15, 2007, 09:40:14 AM »

hey, i am about to get into doing multichannel DVD-A recordings and was wondering what people were using to burn the discs and edit the source .waves...I am guessing i will use audition to do the edits but do you output discrete channels or is there some sort of broadcast wave format that allows multichannels to be stored in one file??

You can use audition to edit, but to burn you need dvd authoring software.  I use Di9skwelder Bronze and that works well, but I think some freeware programs have come out since that time.  Here is a post I did that goes into naming conventions.  http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,58302.msg771552.html#msg771552

I do think taping is the reality of the business..it is also an impetus for artists to create studio CDs that are ART, not just another recording...    Fareed Haque  2-4-2005
