Now, from the heavy duty perspective, is the component stand system that a colleague uses for his deccatree rig.

This stand is from a company that has designed it as a component system. There are clamps, counterweights, extensions, and a list of stuff available as components. He runs a pair of Earthworks on the arms, and a pair of mono Royer ribbons as M/S rig on the front. Sometimes its a single Royer, other times a pair as MS.

That rig came down at a show a couple of months ago, during the first song. It didn't tip over; it just collpased straight down into itself with a loud clank.
I've been around it for a few years and never realized such a thing with it.
