De-oxit is great, but be aware it can kill a condenser capsule in a second. Recommendation is spritzing on a q-tip in a different room, wiping connector, wiping off.

You really don't need much of the stuff:https://caig.com/product/deoxit-d100l-2c/https://caig.com/product/deoxit-d100l-2db/https://caig.com/product/deoxit-d100l-25c/If you have a lot of gunk to clean, I recommend saving a bit of money by using 99% isopropyl alcohol for the major cleaning, and then follow up with Caig DeOxit.https://www.amazon.com/Swan-Isopropyl-Alcohol-99-Pint/dp/B001B5JT8C/For female XLRs and 3.5 mm jacks, the brush-style dental cleaners are excellent. Just be sure to get the kind that are NOT coated in minty flavor.https://www.amazon.com/Proxabrush-Go-Betweens-Interdental-Brushes-Moderate/dp/B079MJ9PDN/
