Hey all, I am wanting to retransfer a bunch of my old MDs that I never transferred digitally, and I got a soundcard from a friend that has a CD-SPDIF on the card itself, but with no SPDIF on the bakc of the card (i.e. all are 1/8" miniplugs). Should I be able to hook my optical cable directly into the CD-SPDIF which is on another edge of the card to a standalone MD deck that has optical out and transfer that way? Anyone ever tried this? Also, the cd-spdif connector on the card defintiely has the 'square' look to it that would accept one of those TOS link cables which i have laying around.
