OK. it seems that the new recording enhancement pack i installed last week no longer will sync to a 16/48 signal. I wish I had paid more attention to the setting as it only shows 44.1 in the settings but whatever.

So when I got home last night to check out the recordings I noticed in wavelab that all the recordings show 16/44.1 and not the 16/48 i was sending them. So I forced 16/48 on playback thru my soundcard and they sound fine. I remembered reading about the 'headers' on ts.com and figured  can fix them.

I did a search and see there are a few ways to fix the headers but I didn't really see a post explaining how and where to actually change the headers from 44.1 to 48khz or what program to use can be used to do it. I have wavelab 5.0a, cd wav editor sound forge 5.0 (somewhere etc.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pretty sure that will actually resample, as opposed to simply changing the header.  To only change the header in WaveLab, without resampling the data:  Edit | Audio Properties | select 48 kHz.

Worked like a charm. Thanks again. kind of embarassing I didn't think to check edit - audio - etc etc.

Worked like a charm.

last summer in cinci in a rush to set up (the band had started) my v3 got set to 88 whatever.  I noticed after 2 songs or so.  listening back it was so fucked up.  slow as hell.    was shocked that it fixed changing the header.
