Topic: External battery charger not working

I use the Sony-style batteries for the 744 but last night discovered a problem. The chargers that came with the batteries (NP-Fxxx style) show a full charge (green light) when clearly the battery has lost some charge. Do these wall chargers go bad? The ones I have are made by Synergy.

UPDATE: I see one of the contacts on the charger was depressed. Wiggled it out with a screw driver and now working. Is there a more reputable portable charger for these batteries?

It's not a portable charger, but the 744 recharges your batteries with the wall-wart.  I liked doing that because it allowed me to leave the battery on the posts without changing it as much as I would have otherwise.  I was always somewhat concerned about fatiguing the battery posts, though I never had them fail on me to necessarily justify that concern.
