Missing piece on my Bogen
« on: October 16, 2003, 06:03:23 PM »
Apparently in my drunken stupor last night, I managed to lose/break one of the grey pieces on my Bogen stand that locks the collar.  Anybody had to replace one before?  Best place to find one?

I just received a replacement from Bogen yesterday for that same part.  I think it is called a shin.  Call (201) 818-9500 for Bogen parts and tell them the model number of your stand and what happened.  I think that the part cost like $1.60, but they sent it to me for free.

I didn't get as lucky as you.  The part is $4.95 and shipping is $5.95.

... but more important - did your tape come out ok?

I'd +t you here for the drunken stupor and resulting hangover, but I already +t'd you for drinking more beer than me on another thread.

How about a +T to you for NOT being an obnixious alcoholic?  Please fill me in on what I did.  Erin and Mel are being a little vague with details.

Oh yeah...tape's good.  Your's?  Off to Oakland.

Can't tell.  I was sworn to secrecy...

Seriously though, nothing too bad - at least not that I can remember - you were just, um, entertaining.  Been there and done that many times myself, so its all good.

Haven't listened to my tape yet.  Sure it is at least decent.
