found this while looking around for a hard drive recorder online... looks pretty freakin slick...

a guy from Zaxcom used to hang around on the Oade list and they threatened to build a protable 2 channel version but nothing has come of it yet

That thing is old news.  It's been around for a while.  Killer, but the newer generation are gauged to blow this away.
