So I've got 2 cables that have connectors (mini-xlrs) on both ends. The process for putting those i a single sheath would be to chop one end, slide the cover over it, and add new connectors to the chopped ends, correct?

Yes, you are also going to want to finish the ends of the techflex with adhesive shrink tube. I have found the 3m 3:1 w/ adhesive works the best. If you dont have adheasive shrink tubing you can use a little CA glue or glue gun

Thanks, just checking.

yes a little hot glue under the shrink wrap will go a long way in holding everything together, that really should not come undone if you do that, thats how i have been doing my cables and so far so good

how can one figure out the size of flex needed for a cable?
i have some "standard" silver cable and i want to do each cable by itself - i would need ___ size
if i wanted to do both cables together i would need __ size
???
thanks
