Hey guys, just wondering, what would be the best recorder for under €100? I found a few, but thought I'll ask here as I have a few specific needs.
I have a pair of CSBs for taping shows, so I won't be using the internals for that (unless I need to go extra stealthy), but I do have a music project where I utilize field recordings/samples, so I'd like the recorder to have the best mics possible for recording quieter sound sources. I'm not expecting miracles, but I'd like to get the best bang for my buck. :)
What I found so far:
Tascam DR-05
ZOOM H1 (and H1 V2)
Olympus WS-833
I live in Europe, so its possible we don't have all models on sale. Importing is not an option, sadly, due to taxes and customs. Am I missing anything? Which model would you recommend?

I'd definitely go with the DR-05 over the others.
Better build quality, battery time etc.

Not sure if this appropriate to post in this thread, but given it's relevant to my question...
Is 75CAD a worthy deal for a used DR-05? My main question is if something better around the same/bit higher price range has come out in recent years, just with more technological advancements?
I passed on the 75CAD DR-05 at the moment, just because I'm not 100% if I want to be taping, nor can I entirely justify the cost right now, but was just curious. Main thing was also then getting mics and stuff... was hoping to get something to record an upcoming show that I don't think has any AUDs done...
Thanks

Personally I'd keep my eyes open for a gently used DR-2D. Have bought a couple at that price point.
