Title: digital picture management software
Post by: teamakg on May 07, 2004, 10:44:48 AM
what does everyone use to post their pictures to a website? here's what i'm trying to do. i'd like to make a page of thumbnail sized pictures and then when they click on the thumbnail they can see the full size picture. i'd prefer something that will automatically resize the pictures for me. as in all i do it point it to the right directory and it creates them thumbnails and generates the proper code for me. thanks in advance.

photobucket.com is easy and free.

pbase is a nicer interface, but you have to pay to store more than a certain number of pictures and be listed in their directory, etc.

i'm looking more for software that i can use. i have unlimited web space courtesy of my school so i just need something to create the pages for me and then i'll just toss them up on my website.

freeware online photo-gallery generators . alternatively, macromedia dreamweaver mx or Photoshop 7 have the capabilities to do what you want.
