EQ Advice. Low Bass Rumble, what freq? would lowering it add clarity?

I recorded Dumpstaphunk last night and as they're a pretty bass heavy band I seem to be hearing some very low frequency rumble throughout the show that is bugging me. The sample included might not be the best example, but I think the kick drum is big part of the problem.
Any thoughts or ideas? I've dabbled very lightly in EQ and probably made things worst than better in the past, but this seems like a pretty easy couple frequency bands I could just lower to maybe add a bit clarity to the recording.

If it's important, tell me to write it down.

I'd go 80hz high pass at 5-6db/octave. Maybe 100hz, but 80 should do it.

I turn the Q all the way up, boost all the way up and move around the frequency till I find the offending sound. Then cut it, and maybe open the Q up a little if needed.

Cool, thanks for the advice guys. I've already just gone ahead and posted the show without EQ, but this is all good to know for the future.
