wondering if this stand would have disadvatages over the 3373. It is 1.5 feet taller and has smaller footprint also. The price is within dollars. Thanks

The smaller footprint could add instability - but it depends on how high you run, what mics, how you set up your config, etc. Probably not an issue. Downside for me is at 26" long closed, it doesn't fit in the topcase of my motorcycle.

since we're talkin' mic stands, i had a question too. i'm planning on purchasing a bogen/manfrotto 3322 listed here:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&kw=BO3322&is=REG&Q=&O=productlist&sku=162694
does anyone use this stand? it looks like a good option for me, but i'm confused what to use at the top of the stand to attach my 483's. i think a Swivel T-bar listed here:
http://www.micsupply.com/standaccessories.htm
i believe this bar will allow for DIN, XY, and ORTF. does anyone know if any adapter is needed? thanks in advance
