Doesn't Foobar2000 have a merge function under the Convert tool?

Mac users can use xACT.
Under the SHNTOOL function there is a "radio button" for JOIN, which will allow you to create a single track in your choice of file types with options for different file types, and whether to save to source directory and/or delete originals.
Great all purpose app by our own SCB!
